At Halftime of our Girl's Varsity Game last night, we recognized Zakh Taylor (Class of 2019) for winning the State Track Championship for the Class 1 100 Meter Dash last spring in Jefferson City. Zakh was a positive role model on and off the track. During the 2019 season, Zakh medaled over 20 times. At Districts, Zakh placed first in the 100, 200, and 400-meter dash. Zakh went on to Sectionals to place first in the 100-meter dash, second in the 200-meter dash, and third in the 400-meter dash, qualifying him for State in all three events. At State Zakh placed second in the 200-meter dash and first in the 100-meter dash, making him the 2019 Class 1 100 Meter Dash State Champion. Congratulations Zakh Taylor! #PantherNation
