It is a Professional Learning Monday for our teachers. Today, they are being trained in how to utilize Study Island for interventions and classroom usage.

The 5th place game in the Weaubleau tourney vs Macks Creek has been suspended and will be made up on Monday at MCE at 4:30 before the regular season game with them. NO JV game.

The Cross Country meet tomorrow in Bolivar at SBU has been cancelled because of the hot weather/temperature conditions. Makeup date TBA.

Congratulations to MCE Alumni Blake Knight (2019). On August 1st, Blake graduated from Army Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Blake's MOS is Horizontal Construction Engineer and is currently going through Advanced Individualized Training (AIT), also at Fort Wood. On Oct. 4th, Blake will graduate AIT and then be a member of the MO National Guard. This spring, Blake will be enrolled in the MU ROTC Green to Gold Program. Thanks for your service and congratulations Blake. Hooah!

Today, we hosted our annual new student lunch. This gave our administration and counseling departments an opportunity to get to know our new students in the Middle and High School a little better.




Today was our first “free book” day at MCE Elementary. Money raised from our Scholastic Book Fairs fund this giveaway.
