Bus Transportation Information- Students who rode the bus last year can expect their pick up times to be 15-20 minutes earlier than last year. New students need to call the office for an estimated time (376-2255). We appreciate your patience during the first week of school.

Today, we welcomed new teachers to the MCE Family for the 2019-2020 school year.


Softball practice begins on August 12 at 3:30 at the softball field. Make sure you have an updated physical and insurance before you can practice. Bring all of your softball equipment on the 12th.

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT begins tomorrow, August 1, from 9 AM - 2 PM. Bring proof of residency, birth certificate, and immunization records.

Reminders...Fall Sports practices for High School start on Monday, August 12th. Middle School Sports practices start Monday, August 19th. Students must have an up to date physical and proof of insurance on file in the Office in order to participate.


Check out these awesome Morrisville FFA Officers attending Area 10 Officer Training in Bolivar this morning! They are attending breakout sessions with area officers to build leadership skills, learn their offices better, and communicate with other officers throughout our area.



Here is the 6th Grade School Supply List for the upcoming school year. The rest of Middle School and High School will be able to visit with their teachers at Meet The Teacher Night on Friday, August 9th for the specific classroom needs on their schedules.

The Cox Care Mobile will be at MCE on Tue. July 9th, 9-3pm. They will be doing sports physicals, immunizations, well checks, and sick checks. Walk-ins welcome.

Summer Student Spotlight:
While most students are enjoying time out of school with friends and family, some are spending time sharpening their talents participating in summer programs. This week, Megan Hamm is participating in the Missouri Youth Tour in Washington D.C. sponsored by the Missouri Electric Cooperatives. Megan earned this trip earlier in the year by writing an amazing essay.

This week, Victor Duchscherer is in Warrensburg on the campus of The University of Central Missouri participating in the annual American Legion Boys State of Missouri. Boy's State is one of the nation's top leadership programs for the youth of America.
