Congratulations to the MCE speech team for their 4th place sweepstakes finish on Saturday at Fair Grove. The following students advanced to finals and received the following awards:
Brooke Fincher 5th place medals in Radio Speaking and Original Oratory.
Megan Hamm and Courtney Strom 2nd place in Improviational Duet.
Megan Hamm 2nd place in Program Oral Interpretation.
Megan was in a 4 way tie for 3rd in Dramatic Interpretation and missed finals by .06. She actually finished 7th place.
Preston Webster 1st place in Program Oral Interpretation and Poetry Reading. #PantherNation


Congratulations to our MCE Cheer Team! Today, they competed in the Universal Cheer Association's Sho-Me Regional in Blue Springs and came away with 5th Place. This is their first competition in over a decade. #PantherNation

State Track Championship Recognition Night on Monday, December 9th at 5:30 for Zakhary Taylor for being the state champion in Class 1 100 Meter Dash last spring during the varsity girls basketball game with Pleasant Hope.

Today, we are hosting Day 1 (Big Schools) of the 2nd Annual MCE History Bowl. Between today and tomorrow, there are 85 teams from 45 different schools attending. Thanks to our History Department and History Club for putting on this competition. #PantherNation

Yesterday, members of the MCE Junior Honor's Society went to Sac River Cowboy Church Event Center to help box up meals for area families in need for the Holidays. After the students boxed the meals, they helped to load them for delivery. Thanks to Mrs. Kayla Wilson for organizing this! #PantherNation
