It has been a few years in the making, but our Seniors finally got the opportunity to go on their 8th grade trip to the Missouri Capital.






These students shined bright in the month of February! So much so that Mr. Woollard wanted to join the picture! Congrats to these students of the Month, and to Mr. Frantsen for being voted Teacher of the Month!

Due to Marshfield girls basketball hosting a playoff game on Friday, the HS baseball jamboree has been moved to Monday the 11th. Attached is the new schedule.

As a fundraiser for the freshmen class project grad we will be selling raffle tickets for a MCE t-shirt quilt. We will continue to sell tickets up through the Alumni Games on March 16th and then will do the drawing following. We will be selling the tickets for $3 each or 2 for $5. You may contact Mrs. Back at bback@mcestaff.com or any freshmen and we will also be selling the tickets at the alumni games.




MCE Lady Panthers will play Skyline tonight at 7:00 for the District Championship @ Weaubleau.

MCE girls basketball will play Ash Grove tonight at 7:30 in the District Semis @ Weaubleau. Admission is $6.00.

MCE boys basketball plays in the Quarterfinals of Districts tonight @ 8:30 vs. Lincoln @ Osceola. Admission is $6 for ages 6 and up.

More than 100 teams from 57 middle & high schools competed in the 5th Annual MCE History Bowl last Thursday & Friday. Funds from this event provide scholarships for students to participate in educational trips to Washington D.C. & internationally. Top finisher list included in pics.

There will be a JH Baseball player/parent meeting on Sunday, February 18th, at 5:00 PM in the Gym. Any students interested in playing JH baseball this upcoming Spring need to try and be in attendance.

The Small School History Bowl kicks off today @ 9:30 in the Wayne Keltner Gymnasium. We have around 65 teams registered for today. Come out and test your History knowledge today!
