MCE JH baseball boys with a walk off championship victory at the Conway Tournament. They beat Waynesville 1 to 0 and Buffalo 5 to 4.
Book fair closed today! Did you know funds from our book fairs allow us to give a FREE book to EVERY elementary student 3 times a year & add books to our library? This week we added 270 books to our give away selection & $300 in books for K-12 students to enjoy in the library.
Morrisville Athletic Activities Week of April 24th - 29th
The MCE HS Track Team competed at the Jason Pyrah Invitational Meet at Willard on Thursday. Zac Ellis won 2nd in the 400m. Landon Duchscherer won 4th in the 1600 and 3200, with a PR in both. Jack Wiebe got a PR in the 1600. Warren Jones got a PR in the discus. Garrett Waldrep got a PR in the 100. Gavin Hensley got a PR in the long jump.
Kylie Maxwell placed 3rd in the javelin with a PR and new school record of 112’5.25”. She also placed 6th in the 100 hurdles with a PR. Ava Myers got a PR in the 100. Laura Gonzalez got a PR in the 400. Emma Mabary got PR in the 800. Madigan McLean got a PR in the 100.

The Strafford Baseball Tournament games for tonight have been moved to Morrisville. MCE vs. Fair Grove @ 4:30 and MCE vs. New Covenant @ 6:30.
The "Good Vibes Cart" with snacks and tunes is rolling down the hallway giving students and staff a boost in the final weeks of school. Thanks Mrs. Woodmansee and STUCO.
Students are enjoying the buy 1 get 1 free Book Fair! If your student missed their scheduled Book Fair time, they will be able to go Friday morning. The Book Fair will also be open Thursday, April 20th from after school until 7:00 pm for Family Fun Night! 📚
This afternoon Bus 10 was rear ended. There are no injuries and this was a very minor accident. Highway Patrol was dispatched due to protocol. Students are on their way home, but might be a few minutes late.

Big night at Strafford HS Invitational Track Meet. 23 schools and we still came home with medals and got some PRs.
Zac Ellis got 1st in the 400, 3rd in the 100, and 4th in the 200m. Landon Duchscherer placed 2nd in the 1600 and 3rd in the 800. Blake Salyer placed 2nd in the 400m with a new PR. Warren Jones got a PR in the discus and the shot put.
Lauren Taylor placed 3rd in the 100, 4th in the long jump, and 5th in the 200. Kylie Maxwell placed 2nd in the javelin and 3rd in the 100m hurdles and 8th in the 300 hurdles and the discus. Laura Gonzalez got a PR in the 200. The 4x100m relay team with Maddie McLean, Emma Mabary, Ava Myers, and Lauren Taylor, placed 7th.
