The MCE HS softball game vs. Forsyth today at MCE has been postponed. We are working on a make up date.
There were 19 schools that competed at the El Dorado Springs Bulldog Relays, Tuesday, April 11. Landon Duchscherer got a PR and won 1st in the 1600m and placed 3rd in the 3200m. Zac Ellis won 2nd in the 400m, placed 6th in the 100m, and 7th in long jump. Jack Wiebe got a PR in the 1600m. Blake Salyer got a PR in the 400m. Evan Mabary got a PR in the 200m.
Lauren Taylor placed 6th in the long jump and 8th in the 100m. Kylie Maxwell placed 7th in the javelin and 8th in the discus. The 4x200 relay team placed 7th with Madigan McLean, Emma Mabary, Laura Gonzalez, and Ava Meyers. The 4x100 relay team placed 8th with Madi, Emma, Ava, and Lauren. Laura got a PR in the 400m. Emma got a PR in the 800m. Hailey Frisbie got a PR in the 200m.

Last Thursday the 8th Graders took their annual field trip to Jefferson City! They were able to explore the Capitol building, the museum, the Governor's Mansion, and the Missouri State Penitentiary. Here are some highlights! #PantherNation

The MCE high school track team went to the Lauren Wheeler Relay at Stockton, April 4. Zac Ellis won 2nd in the 400m, 3rd in 200m, and 5th in the 100m. Jack Wiebe won 4th in the 1600m and 5th in the 3200m. Blake Salyer won 5th with a PR in the 400m. The 4x800 relay team of Garrett Waldrep, Evan Mabary, Gavin Hensley, and Blake Salyer placed 6th. Gavin got a PR in javelin.
Lauren Taylor placed 2nd in the 200m, and 3rd in long jump. Kylie Maxwell placed 2nd in javelin, 5th in 300m hurdles, and 6th in discus. Laura Gonzalez got a PR in long jump.
We finished the night with a throwers 4x100 relay with Garrett, Kylie, Ava, and Warren. It was great to see the kids come together and support each other. Good job!
