Did you know the state has changed the required number of college hours to be a substitute teacher? This change from 60 semester hours of credit to 36 semester hours of credit occurred as a part of Senate Bill 681, which was signed by Governor Parsons and became effective as of June, 2022.
You can find more information on becoming a substitute teacher at https://dese.mo.gov/educator-quality/certification/substitute-teachers
Once you have your substitute certificate, you can apply to be a sub at MCE at

Thank you for a great 1st week of school! We have a new Student Information System called Teacher Ease. We are excited for this new system and it has a lot of great features for parents. You can access the system on the web at www.teacherease.com or you can download the mobile app on your providers app store. Just search for 'teacher ease' and download the Parent/Student version. Parents/Guardians should be able to sign up using the email we have on file for you. The app gives parents and students access to assignments, grades, attendance, lunch information, quick email communication, and more. We have deactivated some of these features as we work through the kinks of the new system. We are confident this is going to increase two way communication and increase the school and parent partnership. We hope you have a great weekend and we can't wait to see our students back on Tuesday!
Please see the information below about the Benefit Auction for Chloe on August 27, at 5pm, in the FEMA.
