MCE is hosting 105 teams for our 4th Annual History Bowl on Thursday and Friday, January 13th & 14th. We are looking for sponsors to help us with this huge event and to feed 600 plus kids for the two days. We hope that everyone had a nice break and we are exited for a great 2nd semester! Now is a good time to remind everyone of how you will be notified if school is canceled. The announcement will be made on the local news channels, MCE website, MCE social media accounts, text, and all call. It is important that we have accurate phone numbers in our student information system so that you receive the call. The announcement will be made as early as possible. Unfortunately, we can not always rely on the forecast and it takes time to check all of our roads. Roads can be clear in part of the district and hazardous in others parts. As you know our district has various road surfaces and conditions.
We will also be participating in Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) on inclement weather days. AMI will look a little different than last year. Students will get their assignment/work when they return to school and have the following Monday to complete the work. This will allow for the work assigned to fit within the current unit of instruction.
