Marion C. Early High School will be presenting an anti-drinking and driving docu-drama on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 for grades 9-12. The simulation’s main purpose is to enact the scene of a fatal accident in which students have been involved. The docu-drama is intended to vividly make an impact on the students regarding the consequences of drinking and driving.
Although the events that take place will be a dramatization, they will be very realistic. Assisting in the simulation will be local fire, police, and trauma departments. Make-up will be utilized and provided to demonstrate life-like injuries.
There will be an increased presence of responders from multiple agencies including Cox Air Care (helicopter) at the school, they are all assisting with the simulation and not an actual emergency.
