The MCE 4th & 5th Grade Music Makers have been invited to sing the National Anthem at the Springfield Cardinals Game on April 18th. We will also be honoring our 5th Grade Boys Baseball Team, and 4th Grade Girls Softball Team as a Field of Dreams team that evening.
We would love for this to be a night where the whole community of MCE packs the stadium. Let's represent MCE! It's going to be a fun time.

It's #TeacherProudTuesday, and today we're celebrating Coach Sherer! He’s a rockstar at MCE, teaching 6th & 7th grade math while also coaching Track & Basketball. 🌾The MCE Aggie In School 4-H Club is gearing up and getting excited for our next meeting on Wednesday, March 19th from 3:45pm-4:30/4:45pm in Mrs. Porter's Ag Room.🌾
As America’s largest youth development organization, 4-H offers youth, families, and adult volunteers of all ages many ways to engage, grow and serve. It’s about young people — from both rural and urban areas — making new friends and memories while preparing to be future leaders.
At this meeting we will have Officer elections for those students who signed up as well as project interest surveys.
Any student ages-12th grade can be involved! Be sure and fill out the attached Google Form by Friday, March 14th so Mrs. Porter can have a head count.

Congratulations to the MCE instrumentalists who performed at District Music Festival in Stockton. Evan Mabary also earned the opportunity to perform at the State Music Festival in Columbia later this spring with Exemplary ratings in both of his percussion solos.
MCE Spring Sports: HS & JH Track Parent meeting is March 2nd @ 3:00. 1st HS practice March 3rd @ 3:00 & 1st JH practice is March 10th @ 3:00. HS Baseball 1st practice is March 3rd @ 3:00. The MCE Lady Panthers will travel to Skyline on Saturday for the Class 2 District 13 Championship Game vs. Skyline. Tip off is set for 2:00 PM. Doors open @ 1:00 PM. Admission will be $6. Come out and cheer on the Lady Panthers!
The Class 2 District 12 Boys Basketball Championship will be held @ MCE tonight. 7:00 PM tip with Pleasant Hope taking on New Covenant. Admission is $6. Cash only.
Parent meeting for track will be this Sunday, 03/02 at 3:00pm for both JH & HS in the gym lobby Also please remember to join the remind app. An email has been sent to students with the code. If you need assistance please contact Coach Sherer or Coach Winslow. If you cannot attend the meeting, please come talk to a coach before practice starts next week.
