MCE Baseball Senior Night vs. Weaubleau tonight. Varsity game will start at 5:00 with Senior recognition to follow. JV game will be last.

The MCE HS Track Team competed at Districts at SBU Saturday, May 6. The top 4 athletes in each event advance to Sectionals. Lauren Taylor advanced to Sectionals in all four of her events. She placed 1st in the 100m, 3rd in the 200, 4th in the long jump, and 4th in the 4x100 relay with Maddie McLean, Emma Mabary, and Ava Myers. The 4x100 relay also broke the school record again. Maddie won 2nd in long jump. Kylie Maxwell got a PR in both the 100 hurdles and the 300 hurdles, and won 3rd in both.
Zac Ellis won 1st in the 100, 3rd in the 200, 5th in the 400, and 4th in the 4x800 relay with Jack Wiebe, Evan Mabary, and Blake Salyer. Landon Duchscherer won 2nd in the 1600 and 3200. Blake broke the school record in the triple jump and won 5th.
10 athletes that competed will be moving on to Sectionals. Sectionals will be held Saturday, May 13, at College of the Ozarks.

The MCE MS Track Team ended their season at SBU with the Missouri Middle School Track and Field Championship on Saturday, 4-29-23. This was the first year for this championship. There were over 60 schools and almost 1,100 athletes from Class 1-5. Classes 1-2 competed in the small school division.
Leighana Leeper won a 6th place medal with her PR jump in long jump! She also got a PR in the 100 hurdles and the 4x100m relay team with Charly Dobler, Haven Hart, and Kinley Wilson. Haven Hart and Kinley Reed got a PR in the 200. Kinley Reed also got a PR in the 100. Jr. Camacho and Jacob Fargon both got a PR in the 100. Carter Gregory got a PR in the 200. Gaidge Arthur got a PR in the 800.
So proud of the huge effort these kids put in! Can’t wait to see the amazing things I know they will do next year. Thanks to the athletes, parents, HS athletes, and all that have supported them! ❤️
