Meet Results from Monday and Tuesday
Monday - JH @ Chadwick
6 new school records and several more medal performances
School Records included the boys 4x200, girls 4x200, girls 4x400, Clay Scott in High Jump, Khloe Wilson in the 400, and Piper Sawyer in the Triple Jump
Medalists included 3rd in the 7th grade boys 4x100, 2nd in the 8th grade boys 4x100, 2nd in the 8th grade boys 4x200, Ethan Rodiger 2nd in High Jump and 1st in the 400 and 800, 3rd in 8th grade girls 4x400, Yvonne Colf 3rd in the 1600, and Piper Sayer 3rd in the 100 Hurdles.
Tuesday - HS @ SBU
This was a huge meet with over 60 schools and 2,500 entries. Our athletes fought hard and competed well throughout the 10+ hour track meet. We did not manage any Medalists (top 5), but had several good performances and 2 new school records
School records were set by Cheyanne VanDyke, taking 33 seconds off of her own steeplechase record, and the boys 4x400, taking almost 4 seconds off of the old record and moving up to 7th in the state
We scored points in 2 events, taking 7th in the 4x4 (ranked 19th in the meet) and Blake Salyer finished 6th, just .1 from medaling in the 400

Yesterday our 7th Grade Band performed at the Strafford Band Contest and earned a Gold Rating! This is the highest level of performance. Two judges each score the band out of 100 points - our musicians earned a 92 and a 94! Congratulations!

Emery Pratte, fresh off of her 400m school record, comes back and beats the 200m record. She was also apart of the 4x200 along with Brynlee Rice, Khloe Wilson, and Kylie Wilson who broke the school record, as well as the 4x400 along with Yvonne Colf and both Wilsons who took down that record as well
Clay Scott and Ethan Rodiger became the first JH boys to eclipse a bar in High Jump, with Clay now holding the school record in the event
The boys 4x200 of Carter Ball, Lukas Ball, Ethan Rodiger, and Jay Schneider narrowly edge out last weeks school record in the event
