Thank you for volunteering your time for our students, parents, administration, teachers and staff. #PantherNation #MCEalwayslearning

This morning, MCE MS/HS teachers stepped out of their comfort zone to present to each other on numerous PD opportunities. We tend to shine in isolation, but when given the opportunity, get to share that light with each other to become better teachers for our students. #PantherNation

School will be in session on the following dates for make up days: March 16(Monday), April 6(Monday), May 4(Monday), and May 19-22. Reminders will be sent closer to those dates.

MCE has been hit hard with sickness, including the flu. Please remember, if your child exhibits flu-like symptoms, keep them home from school until they are fever free (without medicine) for 24 hours. Our custodians have been working very hard to sanitize and deep clean the entire building during the snow days.

Due to the condition of our gravel roads, school is canceled for Thursday, February 6.

Due to the confidence and timing of the impending winter weather, school is canceled on Wednesday, February 5th. Stay safe!

We keep adding MCE Alumni to our Veteran’s Honor Wall!! This past week, we added the oldest alumni who graduated from the Morrisville Academy High School in 1904. We are needing more of our recent graduates (grad years 2000-2019) to add to the wall. Pass and share this to help get the word around. Thank you to everyone who have contributed either pictures and/or money to this cause. #PantherNation

With this being National School Counselor Week, we would like to recognize our two counselors at MCE. Mrs. Kayla Wilson and Mrs. Cheryl Hinkle are both amazing at pouring love and care into our students. Please help me in thanking them for the job they do.

The basketball game with Conway boys tonight has been moved up to a 5:00 start instead of 6:00 because of the incoming weather for later tonight.
